SJ
President & General Counsel
SJ leads ASEG as its President and General Counsel, and is a Featured Artist. On a daily basis, you can find SJ regularly combining nearly ten years of experience as a practicing attorney and his knowledge of music law and the music business with an award-winning catalog of original commercial releases and a relentless drive to pursue his passion of sharing original, quality acoustic music with the world.

SJ has a law degree with high honors from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, a master's degree from Pitt's Gradual School of International Affairs, and a bachelor's degree with high honors from Gannon University in Erie, PA, where he played NCAA soccer. His first literary works on the music business are set to be published in 2013 along with continued music law/business related speaking engagements, and prior to his plunge into the music world he had been successfully published multiple times in the areas of private international law and investment/trade.

NIKKI LAWS
Director of Marketing/PR and Operations
Nikki, also referred to appropriately as SJ's better half, spearheads all marketing, publicity, social media and related PR activities involving ASEG and its artists. She also oversees daily operations, including label, publishing/licensing and touring relations. Basically, if you want to get to SJ or an ASEG artist, you have to go through Nikki! The good news is that she is an amazingly pleasant and smart person with whom to work. Nikki is one of the biggest acoustic music lovers out there, and has developed an impressively super ear for finding top quality acoustic music, and is known to have obscure but great acoustic tracks in her playlists. She once was first chair in her high school's band as a clarinet player, but don't ask her to play today!

Nikki earned her master's degree with honors in communications from Tufts University in Boston, MA, and her bachelor's degree with high honors from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.

MARK INGRAM General Manager
Mark oversees ASEG's projects and initiatives in all areas of research, production, marketing, publishing and touring, and assists SJ closely with legal matters including rights administration and protection. Mark began working with SJ as an intern at the start of SJ's music career, and contributed to the establishment of ASEG. Mark has a knack for weeding out the nonsense and a keen analytical eye in regards to the modern independent music business and opportunities for independent artists and managers. In his spare time, Mark bangs away at the guitar and bass, and likes to recant about his time in a popular regionally touring alternative rock band that "almost made it".

Mark is a licensed attorney in Florida, and earned a law degree from the University of Miami School of Law, a master's degree in music business from UM's Frost School of Music, and a bachelor's degree from Florida State University.

PATRICK NITCHMAN Legal & Music Business Intern
Patrick assists with various aspects of both legal and music business matters for ASEG and its artists. He is also a supremely talented graphic artist and photographer, who has contributed to much of the design of ASEG's graphics as well as SJ's commercial releases and merchandise. Patrick's talent does not stop there, though, as he is an excellent bassist and guitarist.

Patrick earned a law degree from the University of Miami School of Law in December 2012, is a candidate for a master's degree in music business from UM's Frost School of Music in May 2013, and earned a bachelor's degree from Warner University in Lake Wales, FL.
